This is a great and difficult challenge. It has sufficient and complex transformations for a reverser to break. I reversed most part of it and become lazy to piece together every part. It becomes a little bit dull in the end (no offense). The level is probably 4. Thanks for the challenge!

I'm glad You liked it. Yes last part is quite simple math (althrough all pieces are simple once You know what they do). Waiting for solution once You put all pieces together.

[Click to reveal]Windows Defender complained it is a trojan virus..
ToMKoL on 2021-01-13 15:09:
It's written in pure assembler. Not packed or protected in any way. You can check it's not virus/trojan. Either throw out Defender or better reverse it and tell what malicious task it performs.

I am very interested in form app. How did you create this form app?
ToMKoL on 2024-12-26 13:33:
It's not packed or protected. Use any res edit and disassembler and You have source code. Reverse protection and get original source code.

This crackme had been reviewed when it was originally approved and is likely safe.
Crackmes often get flagged by antivirus software, EDR systems, or VirusTotal because they may use the same protection techniques found in malware (packers, anti-debugging, self-modifying code, etc.), or simply a false positive. This does NOT mean the crackme is actually malicious.
The only way to confirm whether something is truly malware is to reverse engineer it and find proof of malicious code and/or malicious behavior.
If you still believe this is actual malware, please report it to us via email: crackmesone@gmail.com.
