Nice red herring! The key was to notice that local_c8 is never actually decoded before the comparison in Case 4. While an AI might get stuck in the 'Case 2' decoy or try to be too smart by decoding the strings, a human can see the direct raw comparison in 60 seconds. Modern LLMs with 'reasoning' steps can also spot this by tracing the data flow instead of just translating strings. |
