Description

Hello, I decided to upload my own crackme. I’m still learning, and I mostly use IDA Pro it’s pretty much the only tool I use. I’m able to beat difficulty 4 crackmes, and today I thought that it would be interesting to make and upload my own crackme to see how other people would react and if anyone actually cracks it. You can try patching or something else. It does attempt to detect when there’s a VM, debugger, and etc. It should be very hard, at least for someone like me, but it’s still beatable. Also, here’s a tip to help you: the first part is goodjob and then theres - rigth after, then you will have to find the rest. It should end up looking something like this goodjob-(you will have to find out). Good luck.

Ja4V8s28Ck on 7:02 AM 07/04/2025: As the input is prompted only after key is generated, if this challenge is about getting the key from the memory, then this becomes an easy challenge. But reversing the logic, that is a whole new story.

LOLSHAN on 9:26 AM 07/04/2025: Thats funny to look but i dont think is 5 diff. Key is not static cuz uses PC infos (GetVolumeInformationA + Win32_ComputerSystemProduct). In first check i just lazy to analyze hash algoritm and i just did byte patches patch. [0x14004553D: 0F 85 41 03 00 00 - E9 C3 02 00 00 90] But after few mins, i figured hash is very simple actually [i ^ (131 * final_hash)], then i just write keygen too.
