Description

A small beginner-friendly crackme: the binary contains a pile of password-looking strings in shuffled order, and exactly one of them is the real password. Goal: find the correct password. How to run: run crackme.exe (Windows console application) and type a password when prompted. On a correct password it prints a success message; otherwise it asks again. Notes: - All candidates are plain, visible strings (try "strings"). No obfuscation of the strings themselves. - The input is not compared against the candidates directly: the validation uses two custom mixing routines, and the expected value is derived at runtime, so a quick "spot the algorithm, hash the candidates" shortcut will not work. Either try the visible candidates one by one, or fully reverse the validation routine. It is fully solvable by static analysis. - No anti-debugging, no packing, no network access. Statically linked - no dependencies. Good luck!
