Description
Write a keygen. The program asks for a name and a serial; find the serials it accepts. Five planets sit on a hidden grid. Your telescope only returns echoes: some probes come back absorbed, some are reflected, some surface somewhere else entirely. From those echoes alone, work out where the planets are - then work out how a sky becomes eight characters. The catch: the program does not know where the planets are either. It only carries what the telescope heard back. There is nothing to read out of memory, no key sitting in a register, and the success message prints a fingerprint you can verify yourself - so a forced jump only ever lies to you. The sky moves every day, so a serial found today is worthless tomorrow. That leaves exactly one way through: understand the algorithm and generate keys. Windows/MacOS, Hints in README.
