This is part of the challenge's anti-analysis design and is the reason VirusTotal or other sandboxes may flag Sigma rules such as "System File Execution Location Anomaly" or unusual process inheritance. This behavior is entirely local and intentional - the binary performs zero network activity, does not access user data, and does not install persistence. You must find the valid password to officially solve this CrackMe. ---- Description: - Still absolutely NO commercial protectors (Themida/VMP/etc.) 100% locally sourced, artisanal C++ code. - Barely any anti-debugging. Your debugger will probably attach just fine. Probably;) - Added a tiny, completely insignificant custom VM just to keep the code warm.
