koboldschwaengel on 2026-01-06 14:00: @mad38 there is even a rule on this site that states "Patching to make the binary print 'correct' or 'success' is generally not considered a valid solution for crackmes". this crackme is solvable by making a valid password.

mad38 on 2026-01-06 14:26: @koboldschwaengel I did not patch the program only to write the success message. I patched the simple logic that decides if the pass is correct. Therefore it counts as a valid crack.

koboldschwaengel on 2026-01-06 21:53: @illusionxxx as i wrote in the readme: you dont have to use an input injector. in fact you partially circumvent the challenge since you can use a broader byte palette than i intended to give you.
