This is because the program not only checks the key, but also uses it to parse and set up important internal data. The patch skips this setup step, resulting in an error when the program tries to use the uninitialized data. In short, this challenge forces the solver to analyze the data flow, not just the control flow of the program.

Ja4V8s28Ck on 10:42 AM 07/11/2025: I didn't bypass the check, I understood the flow of the program, that's when I realized the `if` conditions were wrong and the reason why I got the success message without entering a license. I just changed 2 instruction and the program works as intended.

Ja4V8s28Ck on 11:00 AM 07/11/2025: Here is what I think, You patched the program yourself and mistakenly uploaded it in the zip. I think this way because the program your uploaded gives out `SUCCESS` message for any or no input and based on your description that is the intended solution too.
